What an auto insurance live transfer is

An auto insurance live transfer is a phone conversation, not a list. Our agent speaks with a consumer who has shown interest in an auto quote, confirms they are ready to talk now, collects a few key details and introduces them to your licensed producer on a warm transfer. The consumer never has to repeat basic information, and your producer never has to chase a voicemail.

For agencies, the value is time. Producers who spend the day dialing internet leads may only reach a handful of real shoppers. With transfers, the dialing, screening and no-answers stay on our side.

Who auto transfers are a fit for

  • Captive agents who need volume inside one carrier's appetite and territory
  • Independent agents who want shoppers they can quote across multiple carriers
  • Agencies building a bundle book who want auto shoppers who also own a home
  • Growing agencies adding producers who need consistent quoting activity

Screening questions we typically confirm

Your filters decide the script. A typical auto screen is under two minutes:

  • State and ZIP code within your licensed territory
  • Currently insured, and with which type of carrier (per your appetite)
  • Number of vehicles and drivers in the household
  • Policy renewal or expiration timing
  • Homeowner or renter, for bundle opportunities
  • Willingness to speak with a licensed agent now

We deliberately do not ask underwriting-level questions such as detailed violations history unless you request it. Every extra question lowers the number of consumers who stay on the line, and your producer is better placed to ask them.

How a transfer reaches your producer

When a consumer qualifies, the agent tells them they are being connected to a licensed agent, places them on a brief hold, and rings your transfer line. Your producer hears a short summary (name, state, vehicles, current coverage) and the consumer is introduced. If your producer cannot answer, the call is not forced through; caps and producer hours keep transfers aligned with your team's real capacity. Recordings are kept for review.

Compliance: consent, DNC scrubbing and call recording

Every outbound program we run for insurance agencies is built around the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Telemarketing Sales Rule and state telemarketing laws. In practice that means three controls on every campaign.

  • Consent before the dial. Calls that require prior express written consent are only placed to consumers whose consent record exists, and we keep the consent source, timestamp and disclosure language tied to each record so your agency can audit it.
  • DNC scrubbing. Lists are scrubbed against the National Do Not Call Registry, applicable state DNC lists, our internal do-not-call list and known TCPA litigator lists before calling, and opt-out requests are honored and logged.
  • Call recording and disclosure. Calls are recorded for quality and dispute review, with recording disclosures that follow the one-party or two-party consent rules of the states involved.

Our agents never claim to represent a carrier they do not represent, and never quote rates or bind coverage. Quoting and advice stay with your licensed producers. This page is general information, not legal advice; your agency's compliance counsel should approve scripts and consent language.

Measuring results

We report daily on dials, conversations, qualified transfers and transfer outcomes. We ask agencies to share quote and bind outcomes back to us (even a simple weekly sheet), so we can tighten filters toward the shoppers who actually bind with you. The metric that matters is cost per bound policy, not cost per transfer.

FAQ

Common questions

What are auto insurance live transfers?

Phone calls with consumers who want an auto insurance quote, screened by our agents and connected live to your producer while the consumer is still on the line.

How are auto transfers different from auto insurance leads?

A lead is contact data your team must call and chase. A live transfer is a consumer already in conversation and already screened, so your producer starts quoting immediately.

Can I choose states and number of vehicles?

Yes. Licensed states, ZIP codes, insured status, number of vehicles and drivers and other criteria are set per agency.

What hours do you transfer calls?

During your producers' available hours within US business hours.

Are transfers exclusive?

Yes. Each auto transfer is sent to one agency only.

What does an auto insurance live transfer cost?

Contact us for pricing. It depends on states, criteria and volume.
